Who's Franco?

Our story

LOCAL FOOD AND COFFEE AS COMMUNITY CATALYSTS
We opened our doors for you on September 24, 2017. We started in Barrio Escalante, and six years later, we are close to opening our second location in Nunciatura, La Sabana.

We offer a space that centers around specialty coffee and locally sourced gastronomy. We want you to enjoy with your loved ones and our community. Our space is filled with moments where the special lies in what we share with our beverages and dishes.

Today, thousands of people choose us each month, using this place for their conversations, moments of relaxation, or to come up with new ideas.

Why Franco?

The name comes from the word "franqueza" (candor), something we identify with due to the spirit with which we develop our dishes and the philosophy with which we work. In other words, we do it with complete honesty and transparency.

And no... no one working with us is named Franco.

What we believe in

People matter. We are an organization centered on people, the well-being, and the development of those who work with and interact with us. Sustainability is the path we follow. All our decisions must always be environmentally and contextually sustainable.
The community strengthens us. We live in society, and Franco is the fuel to connect the people around us.
Everything needed is here. We believe in the local economy and in creating value through products made by small producers in Costa Rica.
